For refit projects, we take meticulous care by creating templates, whether digital or wooden, and documenting the existing teak deck’s style through comprehensive photography before dismantling the old deck. This process allows us to faithfully reproduce the deck’s original detailing.
Utilizing these templates as a blueprint, we fabricate the deck components within our state-of-the-art shop. Once the modular deck is constructed, it is seamlessly transported to your vessel, and the installation process commences. Thanks to our innovative pre-manufactured panel system and pre-shaped margin trim, hatch trim, and king planks, this installation is executed efficiently and promptly.
At Foster’s Yacht Services, we employ a precise adhesive method to secure the deck, avoiding the use of permanent fastenings. This technique, coupled with modern epoxies, has been trusted by production boatbuilders for years, ensuring both durability and aesthetics.
