Our comprehensive process for crafting your boat hard top or enclosure:

Step One: Choose the style that best suits your yacht’s aesthetic and functional needs. We offer expert guidance to ensure your selection aligns perfectly with your vessel.

Step Two: Once you’ve decided on the style, we collaborate to create detailed drawings, including measurements, size, structure, and other specifications. Our seasoned team ensures that every detail aligns with your project’s goals.

Note: Fabricating boat hard tops and enclosures is intricate work requiring years of experience. This structural addition demands meticulous attention to detail and a paint and polish finish expert. Approval of all drawings and styling concepts is a crucial early step.

Step Three: With measurements in hand, we craft a template and mold based on the drawings, using the mold to construct the required parts for your hard top or enclosure.

Step Four: While creating the mold, we develop your laminate schedule, specifying all fiberglass layers and core materials essential for your project.

Step Five: In parallel with step four, we integrate any additional work required, such as wiring for lighting or electronics, installation of hard points, through bolting, and de-coring for wire runs or light bases. All of this is executed before applying primer and paint.

Step Six: Fitting the molded part to your vessel is a precise process, involving adjustments to achieve an exact fit. This fitting and fine-tuning occur before the part is sent for primer and paint.

Step Seven: Once the fit is perfected, we apply a new coat of epoxy primer and color-matched paint. Our team follows meticulous procedures to achieve an ideal paint finish, ensuring a seamless look that matches your yacht.

Note: Many hard tops or enclosures require anodized aluminum frames or stainless steel supports, which should be fitted and installed before securing the hard top in place. This step is crucial, as it involves additional bolts and caulking onto the frame, best completed prior to final installation.

Step Eight: The final phase involves installing the newly painted piece, creating a finished product that seamlessly blends with your yacht’s appearance, as if it were originally part of the vessel.
